From the beginning of our business, we have pushed ourselves to be a truly innovative company. Riverton Transport was one of the first companies during the 40's and 50's to ever run the winter roads in Manitoba with Caterpillar Trains. At the time this had been the only way to get into northern Manitoba other than by air. Nowadays, winter roads are used throughout the province of Manitoba.
